Headed there camping with the family April 6th-8th. Any suggestions on areas to fish/types of baits? I've never been on the lake and am dragging my boat up there for the weekend.

Just go into the many creeks or coves and throw your favorite plastic in the salt cedars. You will figure something out. Lake is fishing well, and the scenery is hard to beat. Let us all know if you find the hydrilla posted above.

Hydrilla doesn�t exist on PK.. Hubbard Creek lake a couple miles away in Breckinridge has hydrilla if you want grass to fish. Go into creeks and throw Texas rigs or jigs and you�ll catch couple fish. Top water bite should be good early morning or late evening.

The �key� is knowing who sent it! Honestly though two months from now will be a complete different game than February. Little mix of pre/spawn/post should be working then.

There will still some fish in early April, main spawn will be last 2 weeks of April.
