Completions Company Man 2 weeks on 2 weeks off Work in the Marcellus/Utica etc for 2 weeks then come home on Lake Fork for 2 weeks.

Work for myself. Downhole Tool Design, started in the business in March 1978 as a draftsman. Worked in sales, field warehouse, marketing, engineering, had a great career. Most people don't want to talk to me as I am in the fishing tool business!

Used to be in Fishing/Thru Tubing Sales before I was laid off. Went back to college for Instrumentation, graduated and worked as an Electronics Tech at Halliburton for frac and cement. Now Im a Production Tech at a Natural Gas Power Plant and plan on retiring here in 25 years.

Started dragging water to get my foot in the door of the patch and 4 months later, switched to wireline. Started at VES as an Engineer and moved to found the wireline division at Phoenix Technology. Needed a break from,working WAY TOO MUCH and now that I'm back, I'm a driver for a an environmental containment company.

Not directly in the oil patch but am an API 653 inspector(Aboveground Storage Tanks) That's as much as part of the oilfield as any job out there. A tank is just a big storage place in the Pipeline.

Sold my last industrial supply business 4 years ago. Getting ready to open another one. We supplied dry moly, safety solvents, penetrating oils, tons of work gloves and safety gloves. Life was good!

I even installed pan floaters and internal floaters made of aluminum. Really weird walking around on aluminum not much thicker than the side of an aluminum can. I welded the lifting eyes on this lid. It was the day my dad died.
