Only fished two places this week. I fished a private pond and Lake Mcqueeney. This warm spell had the pond fish moving. Was able to catch some Bluegill and Redear! Fish were holding in grass beds. Fish were caught on the fly. A yellow sinking beetle was the bait used. Can't wait till spring when poppers will start getting some good results. Mcqueeney was a little slow. I was not able to fish certain spots due to time. The places I did fish I was only able to pick up several Crappie and a couple of Bluegill. I also caught a nice 7 pound bass! Small crank bait Black/Chartreuse and Jigs Chartreuse/Pink were used. The Crappie were holding in 14 feet of water by drop offs. The Bluegill were holding by docks in 14 feet of water. Hope to have more time fishing this upcoming week! woot
