Had the pleasure today of taking Wes and David out looking for a few crappie. They didn’t have a lot of hope of loading the boat with the recent cold front and east winds. The bite was a little light but the fish were pretty thick. They weeded thru loads of dinks and ended up with a solid 2 man limit. If you want to get out and catch some crappie don’t wait til the spawn. The time to book a trip is now. I still have this Sunday open somehow and a few days next week.
