I have 5 boxes of size 4 bronze sickle hooks left for anyone needing some. They will run 36.00 per box to your door. All taxes have been paid on them.

These are the hooks with a bent head meant for putting into lead molds correct?

I like the bronze better than the others, do you have any smaller sizes available, in those?

Matzuo filed for bankruptcy. Y'all better jump on these hooks before they are gone.

Parent company filed for Chapter 11 aka reorganization. They should continue business as usual and file a plan to repay debtors.

They may continue then again they may not, not sure only time will tell. I do know there is going to be a shortage of these hooks for quiet some time.
Size 6s Sold and have 4 boxes of 4s left.

Personally, I donít worry too much about it, as I assume the hook business is profitable (it should be as these are well liked hooks)...and they will continue to crank out hooks.

Often times creditor syndicates get their panties in a wad (for various reasons) and force companies to seek bankruptcy protection whether itís warranted under the companies business plan, capital strength, debt service requirements, etc., or not. And as outsiders, we can only speculate as to the real situation. Hopefully, the issue is overly technical in nature and all sides will get it settled and drive on, business as usual. That said, Bankruptcy court time frames are well defined and nortiorusly slow to work through in a highly contested bankruptcy proceeding...which can seriously disrupt product flow during such a proceeding. If this happened, I would expect another company to swoop in and buy the hook side of the company, and keep the company operating, but the thing is we really donít know (unless you happen to be a stockholder/executive mgt member of the company) how long operations could be limited/curtailed/adversely affected.

From my perspective, I have tons of hooks, and jig-heads of various sizes, just for my personal use, so I am somewhat indifferent. Except that last year, I had Redgun make me some brushgard type jigheads, in sample lots. I like them very well...and am thinking about having some more poured. I donít want to get into a situation where I canít get the bronze type sickle hooks that I really like, in the amount that I want, when I want them..when I get to that juncture relatively soon. So for me, it is the safe play. Definitely not for most folks.
