Texans can't be proud enough of the work done by TPWD. The fishing programs alone are freaking amazing. Where else can you catch the size and numbers of bass that are available all over Texas. Remarkable really. NO other state has done what Texas has done with bass fishing. Not even close.

If it’s the TPWD that is supposed to patrol and take care of Lewisville (like setting no wake buoys) I’m gonna have to say they suck

Not much different in most respects. Born here, lived here most of my life but have traveled extensively and find people are what make a place and they are basically the same everywhere. Some differences on the surface, some are more personable, some more open, but once you get to really know them, they are basically the same. Some are really nice, some are AHs and that includes Tx.

Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

If you put beans in your chili, you don't know beans about chili.

God doesn't create temporary people, you will spend eternity somewhere. Choose wisely.

Have to agree on this and I was born a yankee. I came here by choice though, and assimilated easily. I am lucky to have seen Texas in her good years. Now..... well.....we are becoming Californey East.

"What country are you from?" "Texas."

Ask anybody in the world and they've heard of us. They know us.

Our PRIDE. Well deserved and well earned although outsiders just see it as swagger. We don't have "royalty" down here, but we're still damn proud of our history.

There's at least three of my line that I'm aware of that was at San Jacinto. We're descended from one of Austin's 300, Jesse Hunter Cartwright but there's more.
