I need some help fellow fishing forum friends..... my name is Nick Zboch and am in need of some snoopy sized fishing poles. If you would be willing to donate them, I and even more so, the third graders at my school would be vey appreciative. Every year I teach the basics about fishing throughout the school year to my third graders. Once the rainbow trout stocking comes near, we enjoy a fun fishing field trip. I have about 15 of my own frozen snoopy type poles at the school but could use some more. I have around 45 third graders that will be going fishing. Last year Texas parks was awesome to let use borrow some from them and I am sure they will be willing again. However this is becoming an annual tradition at my school and would like to build up an inventory to make the preparation easier for me for the years to come. A pole in each kids hand is my goal. 30 more would be nice to have, doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Here is a cool video from our trip last year so you guys can see what I’m all about.....

Thanks! Nick

hard for me to get to your neck of the woods but if you let me know how I can send the funds for a pole or two I will. Keep up the good work!

Last fall I wrote donation letters explaining what I was doing and included our schools tax stuff and hand delivered to academy dicks bass pro Walmart and Cabela’s. Mailed letters to Shakespeare. Eagle claw and Berkeley. Only academy came through with a 150$ gift card to use. That got us a great start and was very thankful to academy. They have a nice pic of all the kids with the poles and equipment they gave us at the George bush i90 location.

Hey coach, not sure if I have any snoopy poles remaining (kids graduated from them years ago), but I can donate for such an admirable cause...just wish you could turn this into a statewide program...Keep those kids Off the streets and on the creeks!

Send me a PM, with the nearest Academy location to you...
