When bank fishing for crappie, how long do you stay in same place without a bite. I know most change jigs, so how long until you change to another color?

I make 2 cast to a spot (5 minutes) and if I don't get a bite, I move. I also don't change colors much because if they are there they will bite any color. I will change colors if the bite slows and I know more fish are there.

I always fish the cover until I am satisfied there are no more catachable fish then move...if I miss a good one and cant get it to bite again I will come back to the spot in 15 minutes and try to pick it again. In most creeks, you can go armed with only a few colors and do well...monkey milk, Black/chart, chart, blue/clear flake. That said my backpack contains at least 100 different color options, and seldom get used. I start with with the color that matches the water clarity best (or what is on my pole)...I dont change colors unless some else is catching faster than I am on a different color) Also, I normally walk as far down the creek as I want to go and fish my way back toward the truck...that way I dont have to tote all the fish the entire way back from the farthest point to the truck...a stringer of good sized fish is heavy. Hope this information helps...
