What is the best route ? Loop around to 377 to Granbury or 35 to 30 to Chisolm Trail down to Cleburne ?

I live in Hurst, but from your area I'd take 121 south to 183W to 820 south by NE Mall, then catch 121 South again at the split. Take 121 S to to 35 south to 820 West. Then catch 377 south in Benbrook.

edit...sorry, I missed the Keller part. I was thinking Grapevine/Southlake as starting point

I live in Flower Mound and my best way is 121S to 35 to 30 to Chisolm Trail Tollway to 20 to 377. But then again, I leave headlights on at the ramp and do not even consider floating my boat.

Google maps will give you at least 2 routes and sometimes 3 with the miles there and approx. travel time and very accurate. Print the map and you're good to go.

Take 20 west off 820. Exit first exit. At FM road turn left go 1.5 mike and turn right on 377. Head to 144.

Watch out for blue hairs on way home.

I hate all that road construction and traffic back ups on 377 when you head south from 20, was thinking the Chisolm Trail route may be longer but faster, I will go one way there and another way back and see which way is best, thanks guys.

You can exit Winscot from 20 and bypass all the construction on 377.

I drive from Arlington home to Glen Rose several times a week for many years. The best/fastest way has changed through the years as traffic on 377 through the everpresent Benbrook construction coupled with slow stop & go through Granbury has made alternate routes faster. Squaw sits on 144 half way between Glen Rose & Granbury. I have always taken 377 to Granbury and always taken US 67 to Glen Rose. Fastest to Squaw Creek: Chisholm Trail Tollroad to 67....67 to 144(1st red light just before Glen Rose)...left on Coates Road which dead ends into park. If you dont want to be charged toll fees for boat AND truck just stay on I35 south to Alvarado and get on 67 there. Not that much further than toll road. Used to be jumping off 35 and taking 174 through Burleson to 67 in Cleburne was faster than going up to Alvarado but like 377 through Granbury 174 through Burleson has become a nightmare with all the added traffic and constant adding of stoplights.

Okie, how much is the toll for your vehicle and boat on that stretch of Chisolm Trail?
