Finally got back on the water today after recovering from knee surgery. Water is real clear to around 5 feet & 66-67 degrees. Mostly fished deep water today 7-14 feet and used glow night crawlers. Only caught 3 bass, 3 nice red ear(biggest 1.2 lbs), one Rio & maybe 7 or 8 bluegill various types. Most caught up river fairly close to the ramp at I-35. Fished fro 10:00 to 3:00...felt good to be back on the water !

Laker...I saw a guy at the ramp loading his Kayak with rods out the back & a fish finder like yours & asked if he was you. 1st he looked at me like I was crazy (no argument) & then I explained the TFF & he said he was not. I will keep asking...what color is your Kayak ?

All...thanks for the replies...I think I may be starting to get this red ear thing down...always deeper...always slower...near rocky or gravel bottom where the snails live...

Nice fish Vogey and a nice report.

Side Note: Wow! Looks like some Rios are on the move. This is the second one I have seen this year on a post. Rare fish this time of year!
