Depends on what time of year, and several other factors. Typically if your not stirring up mud and busting your equipment then your not in the best areas!

Yep, this is a fact for sure. Those fish live in the mud have zero pattern to them. You could catch them on frogs right now in 3 ft if you wanted to.

The north end typically wins but it also sends boat home empty. Once you go north you are stuck there and have to make a day of it, not enough time to change your mind and go south. You can place and turn in 5 on the south end, but it just seems to produce less of the needed kicker fish.

This probably describes early in the year fishing on Palestine as well as anything I have read. I hate banging around in the timber and shallow water but it's almost always where the big stringers are caught this time of year.

I know the south end really well and the last two times I have been out there I have caught one fish.

I believe it, sounds like the way randy howell fished the guntersville classic. And if you remember how that went it sounds like a good plan
