I’ve always heard Palestine tournaments were won in Kickapoo and other shallow areas.
Talked to some guys over the last month that are saying many are won on bridges that create pinch points. Like the Ledbetter bridges.
Heard it is a race to certain bridges and whoever gets there first has a good chance of winning.
Anyone else heard this? Depends on what time of year, and several other factors. Typically if your not stirring up mud and busting your equipment then your not in the best areas!

Just like on Pines, 99% won up North in sight of 155 bridge. Yep, this is a fact for sure. Those fish live in the mud have zero pattern to them. You could catch them on frogs right now in 3 ft if you wanted to.

As far as not believing what you hear....that could go the same for info here.
Specifically info from here. Come on, man....there's a reason I wear TFF patches on both back and front of my tournament jerseys. Have I been mislead again?

The north end typically wins but it also sends boat home empty. Once you go north you are stuck there and have to make a day of it, not enough time to change your mind and go south. You can place and turn in 5 on the south end, but it just seems to produce less of the needed kicker fish.

This probably describes early in the year fishing on Palestine as well as anything I have read. I hate banging around in the timber and shallow water but it's almost always where the big stringers are caught this time of year. I know the south end really well and the last two times I have been out there I have caught one fish.

I believe it, sounds like the way randy howell fished the guntersville classic. And if you remember how that went it sounds like a good plan
Thanking the lord for another day on the water
