I've been looking at alpha angler rods and am looking for some reviews from people who've put them through the paces.

You won't get much response here, I asked months ago and got the feeling no one had heard of them. I started with the DSR that I got used and it made me want to throw all my other rods away. I bought a zilla and a slasher new a few months ago and they are on par with other rods I have for similar techniques (loomis and kistler) but nothing to make me want to switch all rods. I bought the wrench and hitter last month and love both of them. I would say they are an amazing spinning rod company, and sufficient casting rod (great casting rods in their price range - $250). Definitely worth the price.
If you have a specific concern I can help answer let me know. They are very light, durable, great balance.

May ask the Bass Elite Angler of the Year Brandon Palaniuk... I believe he uses them and is obviously sponsored by them...
