Here is a quick video on some more lure mods that I have used to help catch more fish...Seemed like a lot of people enjoyed the last set of lure mods, so I decided to do another. I am rather partial to all 3 of the mods shown in this video and not only use them, but catch fish with them as well. Hope you enjoy

There is plenty of underwater video showing these lures in action, so you can get an idea how they might perform.
Also if any other members have a lure mod they want to showcase please share.

That was a nice video, great ideas for modifications as well. I like to see the baits underwater, as it gives a real perspective on their action.
I use a feathered hook and attach swimbaits to spinnerbaits every now and then, but have never tries a trailer on a crankbait.
I wonder how a crawfish trailer would look on a craw colored crankbait?

Glad you enjoyed the video, I never tried a crawfish trailer honestly...I have mostly stuck to grubs or swimbaits with paddle tails. I might give a crankbait with a crawfish trailer a try...good idea.

I might have to give it a try myself, be sure to report back any success.

I agree with the feathered hook. Been tying them since 1999. Went into business with Triton Mike Bucca to tie the Thad Specials line of crankbait hooks, but that is old school for me. I still use them every time I throw a CB and it works VERY WELL!!!!!!!! Sometimes I change them up a little bit, but the original is still the best. Used to tie them professionally, but no longer do that. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I have done the same...pretty versatile lures if you think outside the box.
I even have tossed a buzzbait and spinnerbaits with frogs "Ribbit" types attached with some luck. Sometimes its just fun to try diffrent combos.
