Hey all, I'm heading to Ray rob for a few days. Hopefully I can get away from the duck hunters. I fish Ray rob alot but I'm not much a January fishermen. What kind of patterns would you guys be trying to utilize? Looking at water temps in the high 40's to low if any 50's

Your best plan is to drive right past Ray Roberts and head to Lake Texoma...........

Didn't have a single bite last Friday fished from 35ft to the bank, good luck to you sir! That being said if you do get a bite it could be a giant. Normally I catch more big fish dec-jan out there than the rest of the year combined.
I'm gonna be giant hunting for sure. Ray Bob has some big ones in it. Some of the best bites come on those miserable days. I don't mind it being a little brutal (rock on) \,,/
Was out today as well. Fished deep a while. Was limited on doing what I wanted with the wind somewhat. Finally got a small keeper on a windy point. That was all the action I had.
Good luck to you. I’m sure they are biting somewhere on that lake.
