I would like to get into Hickory Creek from I-35 bridge. I have started that way several times but get scared when I see all of the trees in open water. Can I get some advise on where to run without tearing up my lower unit?

Use caution the first time running it for sure... once you get passed the 2499 bridge its a lot of winding and turning but theres good resident fish in there

The creek is prettt defined. Once you go under 35 it hugs the left bank up to the park there on the point then it dog legs right and there's a pretty define creek tree line that follows the maps good up to it

I run the right hand bank, then make a dog leg right to the island then it's a lot of winding across to the rock bank and hard left at the end of it to the mouth by the bridge.
