When targeting/catching deep water crappie are y'all fishing structure, fish under bait, or just marked fish on sonar? Or a combination? Thanks.

Winter crappie are usually associated with bait in open water more than they are associated with brush piles and other structure, that being said, its often the case that bottom contours like drop offs and humps will concentrate fish.
