I recently got the Avosalt 6000 by Mitchell as a gift, and have never had a 6000 reel. What type of fishing is this usually used for, and good rod recommendations?

you can use it for panfish, trout, flounder, and even larger fish like drum. you can put 70-80% braid then top it off with mono to help with abrasion and give some stretch during casting and during the fight.

i've a 4000, i have it loaded with 15lb mono. no problems catching sand trout, whiting. also use it at the local pond for cat fishing.
