Definitely nothing like it in that part of the country. I'm assuming y'all have done the homework, but what about the offseason in winter/fall? I don't know if the McCurtain County locals would be enough business just based on population alone. I'm through that way quite a bit, so when it gets up and running I will definitely stop in and grab a bite!

My thoughts as well. I sneak through every chance I get, but there are many times that place is a ghost town and for a good period of time.

I believe the weekends in the off season will be enough to support it, but we have a plan, we may only be open 3-4 days a week in the slow time, been told that is only 2 months, 3 tops. Also the pricing will reflect on it being in a " resort town " hopefully not too much. We will have to carry key positions through the slow times but those people will be doing all of the work, cooking, bussing, cleaning, etc. We have a stage in back for bands, I think they are going to move it over so all three businesses can use it, planning on having like a big picnic once a month, several bands and entertainers all day long, will see how that all unfolds, it is the owners idea, I told him i did not want the stage, not wanting to have a honky tonk, we are a restaurant that sells drinks, not a bar that sells food.

Love some BB. Fish and oysters are one thing they don't have up there. It should do well.

Side Notes -

Greatful Head is overrated and over priced. Bunch of punk kids running a pizza place isn't a good idea. It's a pizza that the ingredients are not sliced up and then run through a small table top pizza oven half cooked. Then add in the $20 pitcher of beer and $20 pizza...you feel robbed after waiting for a slow waitress with an attitude.

Sorry for my Greatful Head review...don't do what they are doing and you will do BETTER!!

Are the Indians still gonna build the massive resort?

I was told that they are surveying that property all the time, friend has seen the plans, he said they are on Indian time so no-one knows when it will start, lol. My friend owns 5 cabins across the street from it, he is licking his chops.

PLEASE, we need a good sea food place in that area. I would go for Allen vs Mckinney because you can stay open till 2. Figure out how to have live music and forever money will rain down from the sky.

If you need me to sous vide some fried catfish let me know. LOL

I have 2 people here buying a truck from Hochatown. Told em about your place and they said that will kill it up there. That all they have are lot's of Mexican places.
