I haven't been here for a while so we took a trip. Struck out but the water temp was 41 degrees. This small lake has great shelter from the wind. I will make a run at it in the spring. Noticed they have been stocking Sunshine Bass for the past 5 years and no Palmettos. This lake had a small sheltered area with a nice new small dock where you put in. You then go under a bridge to enter the larger part of the lake.It is a small lake but compared to Lake Fort Phantom it is very clear. Camping spots were very nice as well.

Fun lake to fish. Did some black bass fishing back in the 2000 to 2005. While I attended ACU. Didn’t know anything about the white hybrid fishing back then. Wish I did. Good luck and be curious to see how you do in the future.

It is a pretty little lake! I"ve only tired hybrid fishing there once this summer and struck out. I'd love to learn how to fish that lake since it probably receives a lot less fishing pressure than phantom! Plus the water is so much prettier there.

Love me some Coleman Tx. cheers Been fortunate to dove hunt for last 10 years or so out there! Growing up spent plenty of time in May Tx just a little east of Coleman.... Never been to the lake but just might have to now. Great pics thanks for sharing!
