If anybody is going to fish it in the next three weeks and needs a back seat please let me know.
Be happy to pay for gas and lunch.
During the week would be great.

I cashed a check in that TBT tourney. That was actually one of Canyon's better days. I bet it will take around 18-19 pounds to win on TTZ in March.

I used to live in Blanco and fished it a lot. I had it figured out pretty well back then. Caught my biggest smallmouth ever there. Probably weighed over 5. Didn’t have a scale. Despite being deep and clear I usually did the best fishing shallow. Fishing along the bluffs near the river mouth I always caught tons of smaller smallmouth, spots or Guadalupe (never bothered to tell the difference), and largemouth. Bigger fish always came in water less than 8’ near timber. Crankbaits and flipping plastics were my go to. I kinda miss it actually.

Ok, was cloudy and overcast that day caught everything on a spinnerbait in less than 4 feet of water and probably caught a total of six or seven limits

There's definitely some good smallmouth in there. I'm not sure when you lived in Blanco but the water is gin clear nowadays. Was it that clear when you lived in Blanco? Just curious.

Ouch! He kind of answered it like most of the others. Just included a pic as proof.

Nice! The only time I did fish Canyon, what little I caught was on a spinner bait. Thanks.

I would say it was an exceptional day and not a typical Canyon Lake day
