Wish I was fishing today, but I had to drive back to the metromess. Here's a video of the big bass I caught. I'll post a video of the estimated 120lb alligator gar battle once I get it processed.

Great trip. Snakes weren't bad. We had an 8.5 and a 7. Doc and Dale that is. I got nothing to speak of. But a great trip still.
Fitz, Dale, Tom and Doc are great guys to fish with.
we will do it again next year! The Plastic Navy will sail again on Falcon.

Great video. Usually when the "olds" jump and shake their head on me.... they throw the hook. And good to see you youngs are wearing Sun protection. I didn't for 30 years and pay the price every six months at the Dermotoligist.

I will be Alligator Gar fishing this year. Amazing fish, too much fun watching Doc fight that fish. Thought about grabbing the rod from his hand when I tossed him the scissors so I could pull on it. Haha.. Falcon is an outstanding fishery and I was impressed with the respect/space the motor boaters gave us kayakers. And there is a fine line flipping Bushes that are covered in thorns, when the wind is blowing, and you're in a kayak. Few new holes in my clothes and subsequently skin. I'm glad I can finally say I've fished Falcon.

I'll echo what Fitz said. The glitter boats were numerous but fished us clean. Were respectful of where we were and operated safely around us.
Hope that catches on at DFW lakes.
If anyone's interested in next years trip pm me. I'll reach out in fall when we start planning. Boat, yak whatever.
