My BIL and I are planning to drive down in the morning for Dean Stroman's funeral. I'm curious how the roads are in the area. Saw some pics of light amounts of snow on Cypress and Sandlin but haven't seen or heard much about the Fork area.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I'm not there but it appears that power is out for much of the area surrounding the lake.

Chris roads are not bad around lake, but leaving to quitman from oak ridge was a whole different game. Real icy! Like previous post were without power since about 9:30 am

69 is clear, 70mph and dry for the most part.
Side roads are clearing by the minute but up towards Quitman it's still dicey in spots.
Power is coming back on, it's only affected the co-op people from what I understand. They had a fire at a sub-station.

Roads around Yantis are dry to wet in some spots. Power back on.

Great! Thanks for the update guys. That kind of confirms what I saw on line...from Frisco to there looks fine but East and South of there are not good.
