I haven't shot a paintball gun in 10+ years, and have never played in any kind of match. This Sunday, we're going to an official place for one of my buddies birthday. Another friend has loaned me a few guns, said one of them is "modified" alittle bit, I'll pick it up after work. I remember they hurt like hell so I'll be in some thick clothes.
The place we're going is about a mile or so from where I work so I may drop one of these guns off and let'em make sure it's tuned up, friend said they haven't been shot in quite some time and I should go over them and make sure everything works.
What should I expect with this? Are there a bunch of kids running around shooting everyone?

I played on our college team, haven't play in forever but it's a lot of fun. Honestly you're probably better off just renting guns..

I haven't played in probably 10 years as well. Used to travel to Dallas, Angelo and Brownwood to play tournaments. I'm surprised it is still around because you don't hear much about it any more

Last time I played, a group of us just used the range guns and ran a few rounds. Then a team of "pros" wanted to play us. I'm pretty sure we got slaughtered in less than 90 seconds. It looked like the war movies with the machine gun tracers firing at you, it was impossible. We finally split up pros/amateurs and that ended up being a lot of fun. Cold beer numbs the pain afterwards.
