Where is a good/reliable place to buy a lower unit for a 2000 150hp Mercury XR6?

How do the aftermarket units compare to the OEM

It appears there has been a crack that was previously repaired that is starting to break loose.

On the lower unit on the Port side forward of the water pick up vents is a hole near the top of the lower unit. Why would gear oil be leaking from that hole?

.

Top main shaft seal. I have installed a lot of the aftermarket 2.5 V6 Merc lowers without a single problem. https://www.sterndrive.cc/Mercury-Mariner-Force-Outboard-Lower-Unit.html or Anglers Marine or http://www.anglersmarinetx.com/contact-us.php.
