It’s bad here in Shreveport. Tons of black ice. I tried go to shop to run parts to location and couldn’t make the 6 mile drive due to being so slick and I was using 4wd. Saw few wrecks

It's 26, ice all over, almost wiped out on an overpass, saw a truck slide off into the grass behind me. Turned around and came home. Dog is walking around eating turds in the back yard. Guess it's not too cold for that.

When it’s this cold, I get popsicle sticks, and put them in the turds to make turdsicle treats for the dog. She seems to enjoy it. Plus, I can keep them In the freezer for special occasions.

In fairness to the dfw weather people, they got this right. Pretty much said not much if anything for dfw. Its the rest of the news that whips up a whole bunch of something out of nothing. In full contradiction of their own weather person, stupid

I laughed last night when the news guy on channel 8 showed a pic of a curb with a little snow/sleet next to it, and said "the snow is beginning to pile up." He's usually better than that.

Chitsicles? I need to go find that business idea thread again.

Local and area schools canceled here, dry but morning temps of 0 to -5, and a worse wind chill. Can't have the kiddies freezing while standing outside waiting for the bus.
