I was reminded today how good some things smell. I picked up a newspaper for the first time in a while and picked up that faint smell of wood in the actual paper. Also, I love the smell of strong, fresh black coffee first thing in the morning, and also the smell of 2-stroke engines burning gas. Nothing better.

I was just thinking the same thing, how to describe certain smells, like this crawfish etoufee the wife has going right now

I like the smell of pressure treated wood burning in a camp fire especially when it is blowing into my face. Roast some marshmallows on it, and they'll turn green. The kids love it! It also keeps the termites away.

The biased smell of the writing in the Dallas Morning News kinda stinks though.

Baked a loaf tonight and made fresh BLT�s, cut slices off the loaf 30 minutes after it was done and toasted them!!! Woven bacon and fresh veggies!!! Best sandwiches ever!!
