Only time I don't use mine is when no one else is anywhere near me. Sometimes I don't merging on hwy because it is pretty obvious what I am wanting to do.

How hard is it to flip the lever? Some people apparently it's very difficult.

If someone's on my butt I try to give a hand signal, but you can't do that,brake and clutch all at once.

Yes. That is providing you ordered the blinker option when buying your vehicle, and you must use the blinker fluid or it will go bad.

Merge back into traffic because you didnít know it was a turn only lane? Happens everyday to someone in front of me, especially with all of the construction in DFW and exit only lanes on the highways and interstates.

Now I got it. You ride bicycles. No blinkers. It finally makes sense.
