You'll be very old Jim before that happens.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

OK, this first one is free and I'm serious as heck. If I was going to buy a new boat tomorrow it would be at Fun N Sun and it would be a Phoenix 921 w- 250 SHO, Ultrex, Solix 12's front and back, Bob's hydraulic JP, 18" wheels and disc brakes on the trailer and the boat would be white, red, silver and black.
Anything else while I'm hot ?

I have used lots of terms and phrases when dealing with aggie engineers at work but none of them are as nice as thinking outside the box.

Sorry if you're having issues with the Aggie engineers at work, if you'll give them my number I'll speak with them and see if we can't come to an amicable solution. My number is BR549 ext. OU812

That was partially the reason for this thread RJF to bring that to light and add a little humor to it at the same time. Don't know the percentage but a good guess would be 50% of the threads on here are asking for advice, opinions and experiences on a myriad of topics but usually boats, motors, electronics, rod and reels and it's ok but like you said they more than likely have already purchased and just want a positive feedback. Reminds of when I became old enough to get a drivers license and buy my first car. My dad told me he would not buy me a car and neither could I finance it, I had to pay cash. At the time I was making 50 cents an hour and still going to school. Took quite a while but I saved up $500 and I found a 1951 Ford 2 door sedan with 8 cyl. and loud mufflers. My dad said no son that car is no good. I said dad, you took your opinion out of play when you made me pay for it with my cash money. Been that way ever since. I doubt very few people use advice or opinions on here to make their purchases and sometimes their advice and opinions end up getting personal and contentious. Guess this is part of having a forum and does bring a lot of folks together. I met one in person yesterday, an Aggie brother who bought a graph from me and one nice man. I've also shared a meal with another and will probably more at Fun N Sun today. So far no one has got real mad at me for starting this thread and hopefully had a little fun with it. I did. thumb

I appreciate this thread. It makes me realize just how important my TFF brethren is to me and how much I care about them, and it proves how much I value all of y'all's opinions. Thank you, TFF....and especially OT!

For the new thread I think the topic should be "Which is better single or dual console boat?
