I have interference on this combo using the US2 transducer, the helix is a Gen 1. Would Sending the new in box transducer to Humminbird and $60.00 help me out by getting the other transducer?

https://www.humminbird.com/Products/XTM-9-WIDE-DI-20-T/This is the one you want and yes it is worth it. It has better shielding and made specifically for trolling motors. Is your current setup using the stock Di transducer with the us2 transducer with the y cable? If so Humminbird does not recommend this setup. Just use the 2d from the DI tranaducer

It kind of looks like I have some sort of interference. I have the same set up Mike has, just not on the TM.

Just use the 2d from the DI tranaducer Currently its only running the US2 transducer. The transducer that came in the box is sitting on my bar at the house. The US2 transducer only gives me the one view. As soon as I push the power button on the Ultrex, the interference starts. It just kind of hacks me off that Johnson outdoors wants a to squeeze every little cent out of you. Maybe they should mention this prior to purchase or offer a free swap at a local warranty center instead of having to send it off.

Just use the 2d from the DI tranaducer Hey Diesel, I FINALLY got the transducer after some time delays and being on back order... Major difference and now I can use my DI... the overall picture quality seems to have improved as well. I just wish Humminbird / Johnson Outdoors would offer up advice prior to buying.

Good to hear, not sure why they like to keep the trade in a secret either.
