Parking lot is darn near full... great set up this year, definitely worth checking out.

I really enjoyed my time at the show today.. got some pretty good info from the speakers.. Sprague, Alton Jones, Kelly Jordan, Mr. Finch Nasty.. and the night cap for me was Greg Hackney and Justin Lucas.. Hackney and Lucas were there pitching Phoenix boats.. but talked about general fishing, BASS Elites and MLF stuff. It was all good.. and it was my first time to go to this Fun N Sun location and was pretty impressed with the tackle they had to offer. I bought some Zoom plastics that I know the color has been discontinued in that bait.. so it was cool! I'm a big fan of the "houdini" color pattern and they had several houdini bait options.

Anyway.. check it out if you are in the hood tomorrow.

I went today and enjoyed it but didn't stay long cause it was a looooong way with lots of traffic and ahole drivers to deal with. Really went to see Hackney but didn't want to drive home in the dark with that Friday bunch. Besides, it was all I could do to keep from negotiating for that 921. Sweet sweet boat.

That is a nice rig.. Big sucker..That would be my second choice, 521 carbon, then the 921 if I jump from my bug... I live about 4 miles from F&S in Arlington when we're there. Bought 3 boats from Monroe.. could not be more pleased with my purchase''s and them treating me like family. Them Boyz are some good folks..

It�s a sweet boat indeed. Been in mine about 6 months and love it. So much room!

Pictures don't do it justice. That front deck would hold 3 grown men and I love the layout. One had 2 birds on the console and I didn't like that, I would have the 12" on the console and another mounted to the right. Being picky huh. All in all a great show. The big Dallas Boat show comes early in February and I'll be at that one, bought two of my new boats there.

I stopped by FNS yesterday and it was fun visiting with a few people I have not seen in a while. Tackle shows are a good place to catch up with old friends and acquaintances. A lot of the vendors were set up and more were setting up, should be a great weekend!

Nice event today by FNS, worth making the drive over to the Boats, Tackle and fishing friends.

On a serious note the line to meet those guys had a couple hundred people in it at all times for well over 6hrs. I have pictures....FnS is a huge store and that line was huge and stretched all the way across the store all day. They sold probably well over 100 of the Favorite rods and sold what seemed like 1000 hats and shirts. I have worked and attended many BASS events and Classics. I have never seen a line so long to meet any angler like I have today...KVD included. The crowds today were stunning for those guys.

I am being serious. Other attendees will back this up. People can joke and make fun of these guys all they want but they have a following lime I have never seen in fishing. Not all were kids either.

I wasn't in any line, I was over there goggle eyed over that 921. I would trade my ex wife and favorite driver for it.

It�s not just about fishing, with their daily vlogs they put you in their life. I think lake fork guy is a cool dude, and would liked to meet him one day.

I was there yesterday and the show was packed. Crowds are getting bigger every year. The Q&A with Hackney and Lucas was great. Lots of new tackle companies. A special congratulations to long time RHBC members Russell Olds and Matt Jackson who were there with their new line of Illustrious Action Baits. Their booth was full the entire time we were there and everyone seemed to be buying something. Well done gentleman! Thanks to Jeff and Monte and everyone at FNS for a great time.

I'm not into their videos myself but also am not a hater of what they do. Not my thing but it does not have to be either.

How many kids do you think they are turning on to fishing? At the end if the day who are they really hurting? I saw a lot of kids of all ages wearing their gear that were beyond excited. Talked to the kids all day as they walked into tackle section. All were downright excited about fishing and you could see it and hear it as they talked. Not sure I can personally find something wrong about that.

A lot of us working the show stood around stunned at it all. Someone mentioned they have almost 800,000 followers. I don't know what that means in terms of social media but I am smart enough to figure out 800,000 is a lot.

After what I witnessed today some of you guys might be laughing at them but I bet they are laughing all the way to the bank.

Not defending them or trying to call anyone out. Just sharing what I observed today. Definitely was an eye opener for ne.

I was fishing today, and wouldn't get an autograph anyways. I did get one from Alton jones with my uncle, he won the lake Waco cast tournament with Alton and had the picture autograohedZ

It is funny to see all you guys that bashed this Guy and to see him run a successful business and have almost a million followers is pretty remarkable

I much rather sit around and watch those guys than just about anything else on TV. It�s like hunting and fishing reality TV. Lake Fork Guy(LFG), seems to be a good guy, family man, good fisherman, and entertaining. Lunkers Tv, he is a Vet, does lots of fishing, shoots lots of rifles, and also hunts. It�s good entertainment. Not sure if Lake Fork guide was there but he is also great youtuber to watch.

I hate to admit but I was working the Illustrious Action booth all day and I still don't know exactly what the line was for but I have never seen anything like it. It actually worked out pretty good since it moved so slow to show people our products but it lasted most of the day. Unbelievable.

A person may not like Justin Bieber�s music but there is no doubting his success or popularity. It�s just different strokes for different folks. I kinda like that Hickok45 guy but I sure don�t think I�d make a special trip to see him somewhere.

My nephew and his buddies are starting High School next year and will be on the fishing teams. We went to the seminar and all they were interested in was to meet I think his name was Johnny B and a few others. That was it, just had to meet these guys. It was nice to see some old faces and catch up and BS with KJ and few others. I also crawled all over the 921 and really gave it a hard look. Very nice rig. Maybe just maybe.

Great time, I had a real good time Friday afternoon, and another good time on Sat. Got great tips from all the guys and gals.

I for one miss the tackle shows. You get to see a lot of people you do not get to see too often. Socialize and shooting the _____ is much more fun in person, IMO.

This was the first time I have attended FNS's tackle show, but will not be thier last.

My buddy drove by and asked what was going on?!?! I told him it was YouTube sensation Doug R signing autographs.

I had a great time as well stopping by with my brother on Sat sfternoon and met some nice folks. A lot of their reg prices on hard baits are cheaper than WallyWorld plus the colors selections X10. Been hanging around that store for fishing tackle for a loooong time and they are always friendly and ready to give good info. Can�t wait til the next one.

I went over there Friday and shopped, took my great nephew back over there Sunday to meet LFG, LunkersTV and John B. I haven't watched many John B videos, but I have LFG and LunkersTV and I have to say that these guys are having a really big impact on future fishermen. It was obvious that their audience are young people.. even though I'm 65.. I enjoy what they do. LFG went through just about the worst possible scenario for a young man.. having a brain tumor that thankfully turned out to be benign.. getting scammed by fake insurance and then having to put down his dog.. just a brutal experience. I've watched some of his older stuff and he has paid his dues fishing.. got his degree at A&M in marine stuff.. tried tournament fishing without much success, guiding on Fork, rep for fishing companies.. etc. I think he has found his stride youtubing.
LunkersTV is a different guy.. I haven't watched as many of his videos, but I think he is more comfortable with a weapon in his hand than he is with a rod and reel. Not that he can't catch fish.. but with him being ex Military.. I think hunting is his thing.
