Anyone care to share info with reference to fishing in Tennessee or Kentucky for stripers ? Stripers over 25 lbs .

Greg of Weatherford, Ezell (E Zell) is your man. TN is a hidden gem for trophy freshwater stripers. So many river systems that snake through many lakes. Monster stripers lurking all around. Very scenic like AR. Bait fishing. Good luck!

Cumberland River baby!

For you guys that have fished Tennessee what would be the best time of year?

We went the end of April last year.

I wonder what Late December would be like? I think we may go to Graceland for Christmas and might just have to plan for a day of striper fishing.

What lake does Mr. Ezell guide on?

Clinch river is damned up in several places making a chain of lakes. One part we fished only for big fish and caught them. Another part we fished for numbers.

The Clinch River is long and winding like the Brazos in Texas. We fished at two segments pretty far apart in two days. I was told Ezell also fishes Lake Cherokee and that lake has good population of DD hybrids. But we only had time to target trophy stripers and not the "little" ten pounder hybrids lol

Buddy Pat (Filetmaker) and his group already booked Ezell for the Cumberland in early Spring this year. Pat went with us last April also. We all caught striper of a lifetime
