the boy just got over type A and back to school,
I just found out today I have the shingles, flipping shoulder feels like it is going to fall off

i am just getting over the flu A. i had the shot. it hit me 5 days ago. it wasnt too bad. just a headache, kinda soreness, and lots of coughing. Doc treated me with tamiflu, prednisone, and z-pac (associated bronchitis). Wife had it and it knocked her down for 2 weeks. I guess the shot kinda helped lessen my symptoms. I left work Sund night at midnight (7p-7a shift)... called in yesterday, and back at work tonight.

I have seen people screaming in agonizing pain with it all over thier body when I worked at Parkland. yucky stuff! we had to wear complete isolation PPE and double sanitize when coming out.

That's no reason to pass on seeing the doctor. Upwards of 35,000 Americans die of the flu and flu-related causes a year. Kids and elderly should get it for sure they say.
You can avoid having ulcers by adapting to the situation: If you fall in the mud puddle, check your pockets for fish. ~Unknown
Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.
No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

Does anyone else wonder why doctors don't get sick and stay sick all winter? Do they get a "Special Doctor Only" shot?

My theory is that health care professionals are constantly exposed to the bugs , our immune systems run overdrive all the time. Sickly HCP's don't last long in a patient contact environment. MO
