I am not a spinning rod/reel person. But I want to try to do some light jig head/drop shot/ned rig lure presentations.
all I have are MH & HVY casting equipment.
somebody sell me a spinning rod that is good for what I mentioned.
don't have a clue as to what I am looking for,,,,,but it has go to be good, sensitive, on the short side & at a really deep discount from new price.
since I am an old fart and trying to set a hook with a 7.5--8ft rod is a chore I would prefer it were on the shorter side.
anyone got a good one for sell ?

...yes sir ....
I did see that ... & I am a real fan of the St Croix rods and especially the Premier line.
so your rod would be a really good fit & it looks very nice & it is priced fair.
BUT ..... you are in Waco, I am in Athens ..... too far for me to go to get a rod.
if I had to pay shipping I could get a new one for $10 more off EBAY & get a 6ft or 6-6 medium light.
so,,,,,the ball is in your court.

Here's an inexpensive rod that is super sensitive. I have several and really like them. I've caught bass to 9lbs. and catfish much bigger on them.

I have a new TFO tactical series 6’10 M/L shakey head rod that is great for what you’re looking to throw. I use it for shakey head, jighead/swimbait, drop shot, etc. it has a sensitive soft tip but plenty of back bone to set hook. Comes with lifetime warranty. PM me if your interested, we could meet half way between me and Athens.
