Only time I get on them strong is spawning time on riprap, boat ramps and shallow grass.. the flefly crappie kicker is money for me.. 2nd choice is the joker in black and chartreuse on 1/8 pink jig=money!

if I could only use one jig, I would pick a medium sized slab bandit in texas toast. with a gumbo green jighead. ( chart with a little black mixed in)...
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

2 inch chartreuse power grub with a white jig head. Tipping with a Berkley Crappie Nibble always helps.

The jig in first pic looks awesome. Jig in second pic looks like a curly tail panfish assasin.

This one has been good to me. But I find myself always falling back to black and chartreuse or all chartreuse body.

Black Emerald Shiner...Ice Shad...monkey milk...Go To Greenie...depends on the lake...these are all Thermocline colors...smallest jig I can get away with based on the wind, usually a Sickle variety.. if I get away from these lures (cause someone happens to have something working better than me)...then whatever is working. First drop is whatever is on my pole...usually one of the above thermocline offerings...Belinda makes great baits...while old grumpy fishes and cleans fish and talks...LOL Remember, you can catch crappie with whatever is in yore tackle box...you can usually catch more if theromclines are in it....
