Fished 1-3-18,1-4-18 and 1-5-18.
Mcqueeney: Crappie bite is picking up. Limited out on 1-3-18. Caught 17 Keepers on 1-4-18. Sunfish are mixed in with the crappie but only caught a few nice ones in the 9"range. Fish are holding by docks in 16 feet of water. Jigs Chartreuse/Pink worked the best. Fished Placid late afternoon 1-4-18 bite was slow. Only managed three small bass. Fished the trout stocking on the Guadalupe River 1-5-18 and limited out on the fly! Used a sinking beetle yellow/black in color.

Excellent report...keep em coming...I just had knee surgery Thursday, so will be sidelined for a bit, but will soak up the info you provide while healing...can't wait to get back out...

Thanks Vogey! Hope you get back at it soon. If you ever see a black and yellow kayak on Dunlap with several poles in the back it is probably me especially if it is on Mcqueeney!
