Headed out tomorrow to try to find some hybrids. I was hoping deadsticking flukes and other soft baits will do the trick. I hope to start at the dam and work my way around to other spots. noon till 4 will be when I am there. I was hoping for a tip or two if anyone has one. I do need a "thumper".

50 of water deadsticking out from the dam has been producing for sometime now. Thumping really helps. I may be out tomorrow afternoon, if not Sunday.

Sounds like a good deal. As soon as I find out what my bonus is this March I will be looking for your thumper.

Was out there today from 1-4. Smaller size white flukes dipped chartreuse tail did the trick. Fished main lake creek channel bends in about 55 fow.

Good to meet you JWC out on the water today. Tom G. and I eaked out 36 decent sandies and 1 short hybrid fishing from 10 am till 4pm. It was slow with a very light bite. The afternoon bite was better. Most fish caught on a 3/4 ounce slab along with a fly. Half of the fish caught in 52 foot of water and the rest in 43 foot. Sure was nice to get back on the water after all that cold. Thanks for taking me fishing Tom!

Glad to meet you, but we never found a fish. We struggled all day. I could find them on the graph but never had a fish landed.

Gotta try different depths. I havent been out in a couple of weeks but they will switch up to hitting higher in the water column before long.
