Hey all. My sweet girlfriend and tournament partner has gifted me with a guide trip for Christmas for the two of us. I pick the guide... there’s where I’m stuck. I am much more concerned with learning more, patterning fish, and overall advancing my skills than I am about catching fish for just that day. With that said I did some digging and think that maybe James Biggs is the the man that might be good for that? Can anyone offer insight about that, and even contact info for him? I’m not sure how to reach him. Or, does anyone have any other guides they could recommend? As stated, I could care less the lake... I just want to learn as much as I can to become a better angler. Make the most of the trip to translate to success in the future.
Thanks very much.

According to many reports on this site, James is exactly the guide you want to meet your requirements.

James does just what you are asking for. I finally broke down and took him out and the difference was sometimes going out and not know if I'd even catch a fish to knowing that I could go out and know that I would catch already 10-15 on rough days. I took it to other lakes and had success on those lakes also. It was Monterey well spent.

Sent James a message a while back and got no response. Wasn't sure if he still guided.

Good Lord, NO, don't use James Biggs. Terrible fisherman, terrible guide! SORRY HAD TO BE DIFFERENT!!

You will absolutely learn more with James than you have ever learned in a day, I guarantee it. Or, James will give you your money back!! I'm not giving the money back.
