Save the date- Fly Fish 101
On Saturday January 20 from 9:00 am � 12 noon, we will be hosting a free trout lab; that is, you will learn basics for leaders, tippets, and flies for catching trout which are stocked below the dam at Possum Kingdom near Graford Texas. You will not need rods or flies, but will need a valid Texas fishing license to participate.
On hand will be a few casting instructors to demonstrate the basics as well as some �fishing instructors� who will help you learn how to mend line in moving current , adjust flies for the best depth to catch fish, and help you learn the best way they know how to catch trout in the Brazos river.
Lunch will be provided up in the park near Brazos River authority HQ. and for those who wish to remain fishing will continue.

I hope they keep the flow like last year there were still a few fish in July. Should be a fun time for all I�m stuck at work sadly.

looks like a lot of interest in tomorrow's get together. should be warmer than earlier this week. If you plan to come - best to bring waders since banks might be tight with other fishermen/ ladies.
