Wildlife Refuge is some of the best fishing on the lake during prespawn and spawn.

Water is 44-45deg right now, quite a way from pre-spawn. Johnson creek, catfish bay, Alberta All good spawning areas. Platter is not that big but good fishing. Good luck!

Platter flats?? Elaborate some? I sunk a lot of brush there but I'm not going to tell you where it is. They have a great launch ramp and easy to get to. If you're really interested I suggest launching there and explore, it's a pretty big area, good shore line and easy to navigate. You can get more acquainted by checking it out on google earth. bet i can find em , santa brought me a helix 12 si unit
