According to the forecast, the TX Gulf coast is in for several days of lows in the upper 20's/low 30's and highs in the upper 30's/low 40's. I'm sure it won't be quite that cold 70-100+ miles offshore, but there's still bound to be a significant drop in surface temperatures.

If we get a 5-10 degree drop in surface temperatures, is that likely to drive the tuna (both yellowfin and blackfin) further offshore and/or down to deeper water? Isn't about 68-70 degrees about the lower limit for both of them?

tunas are still there, killer report from Hoover just posted on 360tuna.
about 50/50 lures to bait.
