I'm sorry for your loss. The mixing of alcohol and Zoloft is not a good idea. Sounds like a good man that had a really bad day. I'm sorry he lost his life.

Something just does not add up in this story. Seems like there is probably some very pertinent information not being disclosed.

So whats the outcome? . Coach, this is unfortunate but you have to understand officers cannot place themselves at the will of an irrational person. He pointed the gun at the officer. There was no other choice at that point.

There was no other choice at that point. That's the part of it that's hard to wrap my head around. The story everyone that knew him is (speculation) somehow they'd barricaded him in that house and wouldn't let him leave for whatever reason. He also made a bunch of calls to others besides 911 saying he was in a bad situation and needed help getting out. He knew he couldn't shoot someone in their own home, or just wouldn't, and I take it as why when the LEO finally showed up, that why he was relived. He was a big LEO supporter. Small town folks over there in Crowell, dang sure wont catch me over there after that. The grand jury said there wasn't enough evidence to indict the deputy so I guess that's it, but it just doesn't seem right.
