Have any of the kayak fishermen on here used the kayak series by McCain? We have series dedicated strictly to the kayak fishermens needs. If you have any questions, pm me or go to the web page www.mccainfishing.com

I looked at the page. They look nice. I wish more rod companys would make rods for big game rather than all this small stuff. 15-30 20-40 or 30-60 class rods. I wish i could design a series of rods since few others have.

I think I have seen these rods on Ty's 30 Miles Out YouTube videos. They look great.

In addition to Christian's comments, I'd like to see more short rods. For anyone sitting down in a kayak where you aren't going to make super long casts anyway, the pick up in accuracy is off the charts between, say, a 7 footer and a 6 footer.

So, for working up close to and under docks, other situations, too, these allow a kayak angler to get up really close and make pinpoint accurate casts well back and under the structures.

And, a short 6 footer, heavy action, with a moderate tip (not fast) would be a great rod for kayakers to pull big bass out of slop, weeds, branches. It'd give a seated angler more power over the fish.
