Where on Hawkins? I want to put the float tube on it if it warms up a bit. There is a public ramp that is pretty tiny where the hwy crosses the lake on the upper end. Perfect spot to launch a float tube. Caught lots of pickerel bass fishing in that upper end in the past. Good luck.

Apologies for not getting back earlier. This fish was caught near the public ramp off 3497. I spoke to a gentleman while there and he also suggested the location near where hwy 80 crosses. I stopped there on the way back to the metromess and it looked very promising, especially for a float tube. The water is apparently down at Hawkins, maybe for some damn repairs or other reasons not sure.
