57 year�s, 5 boats my dad had growing up and 5 I have owned. Lots of great memories and a few disastrous trips we laugh about now.

41 years and 2 boats

52 yrs bass fishing - 6 bass boats

58 years 5 boats. Only thing I've done longer is chase quail.

Wow! A lot of you guys are OLD and that isn't some young kid saying it. I'm 45. Got a late start and have only been bass fishing for 13 years, on the water for about 11 and on my 3rd boat.

Ill count since I got my grandads boat... lets say 15 years 2 boats. Neither new

We're not old, we just got an early start. Been on the water since I was in diapers and am on my 6th boat. That's not counting the ones I grew up on.

Started fishing with my Dad and Poppa when I was 5, I am now 63 so 58 years and 3 boats with my Dad and 8 for me personally. Can still see and remember the smell of a cigar or pipe in Poppa's mouth as he sat in the seat while we were trolling for stripers and bluefish back home. Those were good times!

Starting at driving age of 15
35 years - best I can count - 24 and that's with zero from 2001-2008

30 years 2 brand new ones and 4 older ones. And by far the best boat I have owned is a bass cat Pantera 2

Winner winner chicken dinner, so far. My first trip was with my dad when I was 4 at a lake in Arkansas. I caught bream and crappie, fell in love and have fed my addiction ever since. I am now 65 and still love fishing, so that would be 61 years. I have over the years migrated to the green demon. I have had access to aluminum v hulls, Jon, glass boats and pontoon barges my whole life. I have owned personally 1 pontoon barge and 3 nice boats, 01 nitro, 05 puma and 17 puma.

Bass fishing 50 years, Tournament fishing 47 years, 16 boats so far, still have three of them.

Fishing for 45 years, owned boats for 30 years and on boat number 6.

Long time ago, I fished tournaments and guided on Toledo, got a new boat every year. My current boat is 5 years old (retirement rig).

60 years - 23 Boats

4 years Bass fishing in 2013 Nitro Z8 that my wife bought for me at retirement. I've been fishing for about 60 years and I hope I die with a rod and reel in my hands.

Started fishing with my dad around 4-5 years old really got into bass fishing 23 years ago. Had 2 boats stated out of a 14ft Klamath aluminum boat with a 15hp Johnson then ordered a 2002 Triton TR-186 and still have it!

46 years, 3 personal boats. Fished out of 1 with granddad and 1 with my dad. My first new boat was a 1993 Cajun Angler with a Johnson 150 Fast Strike. Lasted me 23 years and it was still running strong when I sold it last year. It was hard watching the new owner pull it out of my shop. My two kids grew up in that Cajun. Some of my best times with friends and family have been in a boat.

been "fishing" since 1967. joined a bass club in 1988, as a non boater. bought my first of 2 buster boats in 1990, since then 3 champions, 1 ranger and 1 basscat.

Brother and step dad started taking me fishing when i was 4/5 years old, so off and on around 23 years. Bought my first boat just over 2 years ago now and about to start the 3rd season with it. Blew the motor last march and just got it fixed so look forward to getting back on the water

Been fishing with my dad since I was a young kid.... Gotta be close to 30 years of fishing. Would be more but, did not fish much in college and after moving out. I have personally owned 6 boats. This year I should be ordering my 7th. All Nitros too. Imagine that.

I'm old school and been fishing 49 years, 4 boats and the 4th boat is a 1994 Ranger VS482. Everything works including the 175 Merc I rebuilt myself last year for $1200. Everything on the boat works and believe it or not, the gel coat still shines. You don't need a new boat if the old one still works and is maintained.

The only difference between now and 50 years ago is, there is a hell of a lot more fisherman trying to fish the same water. Not to mention, all of them are going WOFT to get there. Amazing how things have changed and amazing to watch them fly by into a cove. Then fly out of the cove 15 minutes later....
