Before the lake closed down, a black or black/blue jig was a favorite of mine. I have tried a lot of different colors without any sucess in the last couple of years. Thanks for your input.

I was talking with Bighead about fishing Squaw Creek and he said you have to make a reservation.
So I went to the site and checked the rules.
They charge $30 fee to get in ??
You have to pay that ever time you go ??

Is the fishing there worth it ??

I would not care to spend $30 to get skunked, I can get skunked on Lake Waco for free. roflmao

A lake is a lake. You have to figure out how to catch fish on all of them.
However, squaw can be a great deal in the winter.
