Is it clear south of La islands to the dam? Can you run straight west to the Texas N/S lane from the end of the LA boat lane? I’ve seen people running it but don’t have much time in down there.

No it’s not unless you go all the way to the dam. There is a clear shot from the La Islands over to the Texas Islands if you know how to run it.
