Headed out in the morning any secrets besides staying home for hands/toes/face? By far the coldest trip I’ve made.

Take lots of packages...some out of same box work better than others.

If they don't get fairly warm quickly...toss them in garbage and open another set.

Wool socks with 400g minimum insulated boots
Under Armor base gear 3.0
very thin pair of snug-fitting gloves that allows dexterity with one size larger than normal winter golf gloves over them

No secret but I use surgical gloves under cotton gloves to keep hands warmer and dry.(change cotton gloves 2or 3 times as they get wet)

Nothing has kept me as warm as using face masks/neck gators. Pull them up and over your head and up to your eyes. Running at 60 plus in 25 degrees, and didn't feel it on my face at all. I also have learned, finally, in 55 years, lots of layers, thermal neoprene long johns, BPS 100mph rain bibs, hoodie, neoprene gloves, stocking cap over hoodie. Not all that heavy and as a fat old diabetic with bad blood flow, I HATE being cold nowadays!

Keeping your head and feet warm is a must. Wool socks and wool beanie with a hand warmer inside beanie works for me. I don't like big, bulky coats so I layer up in thermals, ski pants and and use a warm pullover. Works for me pretty good.

Good base layer, then 2-3 more layers with the out layer being some kind of gortex or similar type material to cut the wind.
Wool headwear, socks and gloves. I always have 2-3 pairs of gloves incase I get them too wet for comfort.
