Looking for general info on Canyon Lake Striper fishing.... have a buddy that has asked me to pull my rig to canyon and fish.... dont mind the 5hr pull, have not fished Canyon yet, but is the fishing worth the efforts? Anyone.............

Sure it is. TSA tournaments used to catch a lot of fish. I saw five fish over 20lbs weighed in one tournament.
Don’t remember much about were to fish though.

If you have enough time to fish more than one time after you get here that would be good. You will
Not be able to figure out much on one trip out.Plan on fishing a few days and work the upper end of
The lake around Cranes Mill to the mouth of the river. Good luck.
