I have some time off next week and looking at either going to Fayette or Squaw creek, they are basically the exact same drive for me. I'm looking for numbers mostly with the chance at a big fish, with that in mind which one would you go to?

If you decide to go to Squaw Creek I understand they use a shotgun start now so bring your helmet, racing goggles and race fuel for the engine. Should be lots of fun.

I did hear they will be the first to implement a Valet boat launching/truck parking service. It's part of their super platinum reservations. $200 per day. For slightly more, $205, they will give you the lake map with WAWI's tourney crushing waypoints.

No worries for me on the shotgun start...I'll just let all those folks go right ahead and kill each other, leaves more fishing area for me...I had hope for a few more actual helpful comments though

Here is what they have been doing.
If it's foggy they will hold you until the fog lifts.
If it's not foggy they want to hold everyone in until safe light.
Your best bet is just get there around 7:00 am.
Squaw was awesome in October thru November, as I was catching 60 to 70 fish up to 4lbs on each Saturday, mostly 2 to 3's.
Then they turned back on one of the reactors that was shut down for maintenance the first of December and the fishing has seemed to have gotten a little tougher, as the last two trips I only caught 20 and 15 with just 2 lbers. Didn't fish last weekend as I went to the deer lease, but I'll be back this weekend.
Squaw will be shut down Sunday thru Wednesday for Christmas next week, so keep that in mind.
