Hi guys and gals, I currently have a Minn Kota Edge 65 (24v) on my Ranger RT188 but I'm considering upgrading to a Minn Kota Powerdrive with i-pilot. I'm wondering if this is even going to fit and/or if I will need to drill different holes or if their brackets are a standard mounting configuration.

Hoping someone here has had experience with this. Any information is appreciated.

You will need to drill new holes because it sits further forward and overhangs the boat slightly. They do make a few versions of a slider bracket that many people want to retract it further from the bow for protection on the roller or docks. If you use one of those, the holes that you have might match.

Thanks for the info! Come to find out I didn't realize the PowerDrive didn't come with a foot pedal cry so I'm lookin at a Terrova now.

Also, does anyone know if the TH Marine G-Force Eliminator prop nut that's on my Edge 65 (24V) will fit the Terrova?

Just in case anyone was wondering, TH Marine sells two different G-Force Eliminator prop nuts for Minn Kota trolling motors:

One for any model 80lbs thrust or higher, and one for anything less than 80lbs thrust.

I have a brand new foot pedal for a Power Drive still in box I will sell you for $35.00 if you want to go that route.

I appreciate the offer bud, but I already sprung for the Terrova and finished mounting her today!

Can't wait to try it out, I hear i-Pilot is amazing.

Thanks!
